		<p>En [
			<xref ref-type="bibr" rid="ref-1-4162">1</xref>] se caracterizan los efectos de interferencia entre canales en sistemas Nquist-WDM, utilizando como par&#x00E1;metro de evaluaci&#x00F3;n el Bit Error Rate (ber). En [
			<xref ref-type="bibr" rid="ref-2-4162">2</xref>] se propone una optimizaci&#x00F3;n de los par&#x00E1;metros de Fiber Bragg Gratings (fbg) correspondientes a la frecuencia central, el nivel de rechazo y longitud del filtro, para compensar la ganancia no uniforme de los amplificadores &#x00F3;pticos Erbium-Doped Fiber optic Amplifier (edfa).
		</p>
		<p>En el segundo grupo, ciencias de la computaci&#x00F3;n, se publican cuatro art&#x00ED;culos de investigaci&#x00F3;n:

		<p>En [
			<xref ref-type="bibr" rid="ref-3-4162">3</xref>] se modela la resistencia de dise&#x00F1;o a la compresi&#x00F3;n en hormigones reforzados con fibras de acero, utilizando redes neuronales de base radial. En [
			<xref ref-type="bibr" rid="ref-4-4162">4</xref>] se simula el h&#x00E1;bitat f&#x00ED;sico y las curvas de idoneidad de peces para determinar el caudal ecol&#x00F3;gico en el r&#x00ED;o Ayuquila-Armer&#x00ED;a de M&#x00E9;xico. En [
			<xref ref-type="bibr" rid="ref-5-4162">5</xref>] se propone un modelo que permite, a partir de im&#x00E1;genes satelitales, obtener informaci&#x00F3;n de flujo de sedimentaci&#x00F3;n en la zona de estudio, espec&#x00ED;ficamente en el Golfo de Urab&#x00E1;, Colombia. Finalmente, en [
			<xref ref-type="bibr" rid="ref-6-4162">6</xref>] se modela el comportamiento de ondas sonoras en el interior de un tubo por medio del m&#x00E9;todo de diferencias finitas escalonado, con fines de simulaci&#x00F3;n de fen&#x00F3;menos ac&#x00FA;sticos.
		</p>
		<p>Por &#x00FA;ltimo, en el &#x00E1;rea de ingenier&#x00ED;a el&#x00E9;ctrica, se publica un art&#x00ED;culo de revisi&#x00F3;n y otro de investigaci&#x00F3;n:

		<p>En [
			<xref ref-type="bibr" rid="ref-7-4162">7</xref>] se presenta una revisi&#x00F3;n bibliogr&#x00E1;fica a nivel mundial en relaci&#x00F3;n con estudios de complementariedad de energ&#x00ED;a el&#x00E9;ctrica, incluyendo, entre otros, recursos solares, e&#x00F3;licos e h&#x00ED;dricos, a la vez que se analizan los precios y su demanda. Finalmente, en [
			<xref ref-type="bibr" rid="ref-8-4162">8</xref>] se proponen dos modelos matem&#x00E1;ticos que permiten optimizar el valor de compra de energ&#x00ED;a el&#x00E9;ctrica para operadores de red.
		</p>
		<p>En este n&#x00FA;mero de la revista 
			<italic>Ciencia e Ingenier&#x00ED;a Neogranadina</italic>, se publicaron ocho art&#x00ED;culos, de los cuales siete son de investigaci&#x00F3;n y uno de revisi&#x00F3;n, lo que contribuye al estado del arte en las tem&#x00E1;ticas seleccionadas. Invitamos a los lectores a incorporar estos art&#x00ED;culos en la construcci&#x00F3;n del estado del arte en sus investigaciones.
